Mission & Goals

The PTO services the school, students, and families in many ways. The PTO strives to communicate effectively with parents during the school year in order to keep our connections strong. The PTO offers various volunteer opportunities that align with the mission of our organization, and we are successful because of people like YOU, who volunteer your time and talents to carry out the fun events for the students that we hold each school year. Volunteering with the PTO is a wonderful way to connect to other parents in our school, learn about important events, and benefit your student!

Our Mission:

Hi! My name is Micah Birky and this is my third year as PTO president. I have a degree in Elementary Education and have held different roles in school districts locally and in Indiana. Currently I am staying home with my kids Ellie(9), Ethan(6), and Hattie (4) while my husband works as an optometrist for All About Eyes. When I am not cleaning up a mess someone else made or getting snacks to fill the abyss that is my kids’ stomach, I enjoy pickle ball, golf, gardening/landscaping, reading, watching the Cardinals, and playing indoor and outdoor games.

I am looking forward to continuing to serve the staff and students at our great school.

Hello! My name is Molly Sullivan and this is my second year as a Co Vice-President for PTO. I have previously been involved at Hudson Elementary substitute teaching and supervising noon hour. I am currently a Senior Deputy Coroner for McLean County Coroner’s Office and I am also an EMT on an ambulance. I reside in Hudson with my husband Justin and our three children Chloe(3rd grade), Maggie (K) and Jayce (PreK). I enjoy spending time with family, boating and traveling. I look forward to getting to know more families and serving the staff and students at Hudson Elementary.

Hi! My name is Maggie Stephens and this is my first year as the PTO secretary. I recently made the transition from a full-time School Social Worker to stay home with our two children Ilah(6) and Wes (4). My husband, Drew, farms locally and also attended Hudson Elementary School as a child. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family/friends, doing house projects, gardening, vacationing in Florida, and enjoying nature. I’m excited for my new role as part of the Hudson PTO and looking forward to a great year full of exciting activities!
